Our Board Members

Sonya Woodard

The Founder/President of GOT and has 16 years of work experience in nonprofit faith-based organizations with 10 years of nonprofit management experience. Sonya has been working with youth in her church, the community, and through Girls of Transformation for more than 10 years. Sonya is also a small business owner of Business Credit Professionals, Inc. Sonya is a regular mentor to the youth enrolled in GOT programs and is constantly striving to expand the organization’s reach and service provision. She has wide stretching community connections and is well-known in the SFL area.

Minister Terry Woodard

The Director of Finance and serves as a board member. He has 11 years of experience in nonprofit and human services and 8 years of experience in corporate management and accounting. Mr. Woodard is a small business owner of, T Reefer Repair, Inc.  Mr. Woodard is a regular donor, contributing to the services provided by GOT and provides support for technical and other supportive needs of the overall organization. Mr. Woodard currently serves as the organization’s CFO and is a founding board member.

Dr. Lesley Glover

The Director of Health at GOT is born and raised in Miami, FL. She received her medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine, and is a Board-Certified Family Physician. She has been in practice since 2004 at Family Medical and Wellness Center. She has been working in the area since completing their residency. Dr. Glover is currently serving as the Junior and Primary Church School teacher at Greater Mount Zion AME Church in West Park, where she has been a member since childhood. Dr. Glover joined the GOT Board in late 2016.
